Newbury Beach Tournament 2012

Newbury Beach Tournament takes place from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th July 2012 at Newbury Rugby Football Club, in Berkshire in aid of the Matt Hampson Foundation. The weekend will feature a 5-a-side rugby tournament on the 'beach', running side by side with netball, but also live music throughout the day and into the evening.

Line-up

Playing in the 'Big Top' on Friday night will be a Paul Weller Tribute band and then on Saturday fABBAgirls, the Rolling Stoned,The Dunwells, City Of Lights, and Paul Roberts Covers Band will feature. Over the weekend local bands and non-stop DJs will keep the party atmosphere going.

Tickets

Combined festival and camping weekend tickets are priced at £55 – children (aged under 18 years) camp free with paying adults, with their weekend tickets priced at £15. To buy tickets, click here.

1000 tons of sand will be imported to create the playing areas. The 30 acre site has plenty of room for both secure parking and camping. With all manner of food and beverages available, shower and toilet facilities, medical backup, lots of activities.

Camping

The venue will be open for campers to arrive at lunchtime on the Friday and will close on the Monday morning to give campers time to depart. The last events will finish between 5 and 6pm on the Sunday. The full facilities of the Club including showers will be available for the weekend.
