Rick Fest is 'one off' Charity event for friends and family with entertainment for all ages, taking place on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th June 2012 at the rural location of Greenhill Fields, near Trowbridge, in Wiltshire. The event hopes to play an important role in helping families with a sick child who need support.

Line-up

Headliners are yet to be announced. The Penny Red, Terhi, Acoustic Junkies, Innes Sibun Blues, Matt Woosey, The A-Heads, Rhythm Room, Sandy Ince, White Knukle Bride, Lightning Hobo's, Triple JD, The Skimmity Hitchers, Trip The Switch, Corinthian Casuals, and Katey Brooks.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £40 for an adult weekend tickets, or £20 for a weekend child (aged 10-15 years) weekend ticket, children aged under 10 years can attend for free. There's an additional charge of £10 per pitch for camping payable on arrival at the festival. Rick Fest goers need to indicate tent, caravan or camper when booking tickets.

On site

Markets stalls, roots music, open mic, camping (2 nights), workshops and much more. Gates open at 2pm on Friday, music from 7pm until late, on Saturday music starts 2pm until late, festival goers must to be offsite by noon on Sunday.

Charity

The vision and inspiration behind this charity music event is a young man called Rick who died at the age of 19 after a tragic accident. He battled to sustain life and during his illness inspired so many people.

All profits from this event are going to the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity, who look after children with a life threatening or terminal illness. Rick's mum Jayne is a support worker for this charity and she and her husband Phil are the event organizers.
