Sub Circus Festival has been cancelled.

A statement from organisers says:

"After the amount of work we have put in to make Sub Circus festival a success, it is with incredible sadness that we have had to make this decision, and it is one that has not been made lightly.

The events cancellation has been made due to unforeseen circumstances involving permitted running times of entertainment. These times have been restricted beyond a point that we feel would be acceptable to our audience.

To remain loyal to the festival's ethos we have been left with no other choice than to cancel this years event.

We would like to thank everyone that has been involved with the festival this year and would like to offer our sincere apologies to those that have bought tickets. Refunds for all ticketholders will be made at point of purchase within 7 days.

Please keep a look out for Sub Circus events and club nights in the future, thank you for your support.

Sub Circus Festival will be taking place in a secret location in Herefordshire from Friday 22nd until Sunday 24th September 2012.

This new festival is billed as showcasing a circus of sounds, from gypsy swing, house and dub, to reggae, world music and funk. Brimming over with dancing, debauchery and magic. Catering to a mere 500 guests, Sub Circus is proud to be going back to the roots of festival culture. With no sponsors or corporate branding, this enables the festival organisers to make every guest feel special, and give them the space to dance like no one is watching.

Line-up

There will be a carefully curated line-up, as well as an impressive programme of entertainment and interactive live art performances. From Badger Badger, Reggae Roast, and the resident DJ's from Cerca Trova., as well as Slamboree, Canine Sounds, The Playground Syndicate, Sama Roots Soundsystem, Karma Industries Recordings, Scat Ravage, Ghetto Plotz, The Mulatones, Grandpa Abe, DJ Ben Ben, Known Jules, and Sub Circus DJS.
