Weymouth Bayside Festival takes place at waterfront area in the South West corner of Weymouth Bay, adjacent to the Weymouth Pavilion, from Friday 27th July until Friday 12th August 2012.

Line-up

With a capacity of 1,500, the arena will host an entire programme of free-to-view activities and demonstrations throughout the day. The evening programme will showcase named acts on two stages, these include Show of Hands.

The two week event will offer displays, live entertainment, retailers, bars and fabulous local Dorset foods.

With a capacity of 8,500 visitors at any one time, the festival will be a celebration of music and entertainment along with a broad range of exhibitors, retailers and food concessions. Occupying outstanding waterfront area in the South West corner of Weymouth Bay, the site will be an exciting venue to spend your family day out. Throughout the day and in the evenings you can expect sensational musical acts across the two stages, to ensure 17 days of unique and spectacular entertainment..

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
