Herts Jazz Festival takes place at Hawthorne Theatre, Welwyn Garden City, in Hertfordshire happening from Friday 20th until Sunday 22nd September.
Line-up
The line up includes 'The Godfather of British Jazz' Stan Tracey, master improviser Kenny Wheeler, eclectic virtuoso Django Bates, piano prodigy Reuben James and jazz superstar and 60s legend Georgie Fame. Also confirmed are The Arnie Somogyi Trio, Herts Youth Jazz Ensemble, The Leon Greening Trio, Ronnie Rae Quintet with Fionna Duncan, The Nigel Price Trio, Iain BallamyÂs Anorak, The Clark Tracey Trio, The Toni Kofi Quartet, The Alan Barnes Trio, The Don Weller Quartet, Tribute to JJ and Kai, The James Pearson Trio and The Brandon Allen Sextet.
Tickets
Weekend tickets are priced at £90, (Herts Jazz members offer £80), a student weekend ticket is priced at £20. Session tickets are also on sale now with 10% off for two or more sessions purchased in advance.
Accommodation
This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
