An adult ticket is priced at £16.50 each (included booking fee). There is currently a buy one ticket get one free offer. Child tickets are priced at £11 each (including booking fee) Please Note: Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult over 18.

Seating is not provided at Sound Waves 2014 but you are allowed to bring your own folding chairs or rugs to sit on. Please be aware that people often stand immediately in the front of the stage and this is often encouraged by the artistes who are performing. If you want to enjoy the concert from the comfort of a deck chair you are recommended to set up some way back from the stage.
No Alcohol or Food is allowed, but A licensed bar will be available on site for the duration of the concert and a Challenge 21 policy will be in operation so it is advisable to bring ID.
The park will open to the public at approximately 4.30pm. Please be patient if the gates open slightly later than advertised. There will be a genuine reason for this either a sound check overrun or health and safety considerations.
The concert will commence at approximately 5.40pm. There will be changeovers in between each act who is performing at Sound Waves in order to remove equipment and reset the stage.
After the show has finished the park will close to the public at approximately 10.00pm.
Transport Information
For details of bus and Metro services please consult www.nexus.org.uk. A number of bus stops are located adjacent to Bents Park on Sea Road. The nearest Metro Station is South Shields which is approximately a 20 minute walk to Bents Park.
There are numerous car parks located adjacent to Bents Park on South Shields seafront. There is also overspill provision on the Dragon Playing Fields
Disabled Provision
Bents Park is a large open area which provides good views of the stage for those in wheelchairs from most areas. In addition there is a large video screen adjacent to the stage which will show live footage of the concert. There is a designated disabled viewing platform however capacity is limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Accommodation
This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
