There is a new FREE midsummer music festival coming to Canterbury to promote folk music, food and drink, and local produce. Canterbury Folk Festival happens on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th of June 2015 in Dane John Gardens.
Line-up
The first acts announced are Gentleman of Few, Thomas Ashby, Jimmy and The Riddles, Relig Oran, Law Abiding Citizens, Celtic Capers, Emily Watts, AB and The Underclass, Green Diesel, Baxter, The Boxing Octopus, Thousands Army, The Substantials, and Lucky Jackson, expect local and national bands from the New Canterbury Scene.
There will be a Main stage and Buskers Stage, plus a variety of Morris dance groups on site.

There will be stalls, kids' entertainers and kids area with activities, a bar with real ales, artisan food stalls, art and craft makers and retailers, and more.
This will be free entry event to the public. The bus station is within walking distance to Dane John Gardens as is Canterbury East railway station.
