The 10th Fal River Festival takes place at various venues on the River Fal, Falmouth in Cornwall, from Friday 22nd to Sunday 31st May 2015 bringing together artistic talent from the worlds of music, theatre, film and literature, alongside themes of activity, adventure, nature, food and drink.
Line-up
There are no music acts announced yet for 2015. Other activities include a performance of ‘Down by the River' by Swamp Circus at Feock, Kernow Education Arts Partnership (KEAP)with a pop-up performance of Cornish and English folk songs and poetry, Cornwall Astronomy Society, the National Maritime Museum will host ‘Thor' themed activity days, and Falmouth Art Gallery and The Poly will present exhibitions and films.

This not-for-profit community festival encompasses over 150 events varying from music & drama, the arts & heritage to gig racing, swimming, walking & lots more.
Events lined up for this year include the Fal River Walk, Castle to Castle Swim, Fal Fish Festival, the award-winning Film on the Ferry and the opening Beer Fleet Parade.
The food culture of the area will not be neglected, with a food and craft festival taking place on Events Square in Falmouth on the 23rd - 25th May, and a foraging walk on the 28th May with local expert Rachel Lambert starting at St Mawes Harbour.
There will also be plenty of opportunities to actively explore the river - through sailing, navigation challenges, swimming, canoeing, walking and diving.
The Festival will be launched with the annual Beer Fleet Sail on the 22nd May, and brought to a close by a Mardi Gras themed street party on the 31st May
The Festival was established in 2005 and provides a chance to embrace the places, people, history, culture, sport and industry that are connected by this iconic Cornish river.
