The 10th Laugharne Weekend of music, comedy & books takes place from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd April 2016 in Dylan Thomas' small seaside town
Located in a remote corner of Carmarthenshire, southwest Wales and the village’s associations with Dylan Thomas, whose Boathouse, writing shed and the string of local pubs with legendary stories of the poet’s drunken antics make up Laugharne’s year-round tourist trail. Venues include The Millennium Hall, The Congregational Church, The Castle Marquee, The Fountain Inn (The Rugby Club), and Browns.

Penderyn Music Book Prize
Sponsored by Welsh whisky company Penderyn, the winner of this year’s Pendyren Music Book Prize will be announced at the Festival. Contenders this year include Patti Smith, Elvis Costello, Jon Savage, Grace Jones, Chrissie Hynde, Dave Haslam and Tracey Thorne. Judges include Annie Nightingale, Stuart Maconie and Green Gartside.
