Øya festival is the largest outdoor music festival in Oslo, Norway and promotes a diverse line up from across the globe. Returning for its 8th year, Oya Festival takes place in the Medieval Park, which is located in Gamlebyen, the oldest part of Oslo from Tuesday 11th until Saturday 15th August.

Line-up

Previously confirmed are: Yeasayer, Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, The Black Angels, Die Antwoord, Rubik, Youth Pictures of Florence Henderson, Kenneth Isak & the Freedom Machines, Torgny, Thom Hell, Oslo Ess, Wardruna, The Flaming Lips, Diplo, Shearwater, I Was A King, The Low Anthem, Joachim 'DiskJokke' Dyrdahl with the Indonesian Project, Broken Bells, The Specials, Sleepy Sun, Field Music, Air, Fucked Up, Trash Talk, Imperial State Electric, Against Me, Shining, Nachtmystium, Marina & The Diamonds, Local Natives, Jonsi, Panda Bear, Miike Snow, Sleigh Bells, Tune-Yards, Kind Midas Sound, and home grown talent Karpe Diem, Lars Vaular and Ingrid Olava.

Camping

There is camping available nearby at Ekeberg Camping and the festival site is a ten minute walk from Oslo Central Station.

On site

Amidst the festival area of trees, green grass and water, the festival is well equipped with stages, shopping streets and small shops serving food and drink. Festival goers can swim from one stage to another or take a short walk to the city centre of Oslo.

Ecological

Øya is the most environmentally friendly festival in the country, boasting 100% ecological food and green ethics.
