Pentecost Festival, billed as "A celebration of life", is a free urban event run by christian church organisers and held across many venues in central London from Monday 6th until Sunday 12th June 2011.

Line-up

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2011.

The organisers are promising a varied programme of events from comedy, sport, prayer, children's entertainment, fashion, debate, movies, food, music, colour, campaigning, social action, physical theatre, story telling, clubbing, ecology and more.

Pentecost 2011 will once again be hosted by the Jesus House, Hillsong and Holy Trinity Brompton churches.

Project Dance will be hitting the streets of London with an all day outdoor dance concert accompanied by great dance master classes and opportunities to see and meet great dancers from around the World from 3rd – 5th June 2011.

On the 11th June a night of celebration, worship and prayer will take place at the O2 Arena lead by the Jesus House Choir, Hillsong's Joel Houston and Pete Wilson, and HTB's Tim Hughes; with prayers lead by the leaders of the host churches' Pastor Agu Irukwu, Gary Clarke and Nicky Gumbel. Tickets for this event will be priced at £10.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
