Live by the Lake 2013

English Heritage has announced Live by the Lake, the 2013 summer concert season at Kenwood House and Estate which is situated on the northern edge of Hampstead Heath, in London over two weekends from Friday 23rd August until Sunday 1st September 2013.

Enjoy a summer evening at one of the English Heritage Summer Picnic Concerts. Gather a group of friends and family and enjoy the music, relaxed atmosphere and breathtaking setting. It is a unique way to spend a Saturday summer's evening.

Line-up

The programme for 2013 is planned as follows:
Friday 23 August: Suede, and special guests.
Saturday 24 August: Choral Greats with The Royal Choral Society & The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, plus Fireworks Spectacular.
Sunday 25 August Keane, and special guests.
Friday 30 August: Singin' in the Rain a live musical score and film screening featuring The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.
Saturday 31 August: Opera Alfresco featuring the English National Opera Orchestra, with special guests.
Sunday 01 September: Summertime - An Evening of Gershwin with special guests.

Doors will open early for concert goers to enjoy the East Park and picnic. There will be ample food and drink stalls as well as a bar and a concert shop.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
