The festival has been cancelled after a severe storm hit the festival on the Thursday evening. Two stages have collapsed, and five people have died while many more are injured.

One of the largest music festivals in Belgium catering for 180,000 people, well organised and has eight stages showing the best in a whole range of music. The dates for the 26th event are confirmed as Thursday 18th to Saturday 20th August 2011.

This festival has been running since 1985 in Belgium, and after various location changes has settled on the site of Kempische Steenweg in Kiewit, Hasselt.

Tickets

Weekend and Thursday tickets have sold out, only Friday and saturday tickets available priced at 79 euros. To buy tickets, click here. Train tickets can be used from every station in Belgium towards the festival and back.

The campsite is open from 12 noon on the Wednesday, and needs to be cleared by 11am on the Sunday. A main road separates the arena and the campsite, so take extra care when crossing, especially after a good days slog at the bar!
