Purbeck Folk Festival is a family friendly event for 1,500 set in the Purbeck Hills, in Dorset and happening from Friday 23rd until Monday 26th August 2013. The festival will once again be held at Wilkswood Farm in Langton Matravers, near Swanage, in Dorset.
Line-up
Latest additions are Mama Rosin, Gaderene, The Leon Hunt n-Tet, The Carrivick Sisters, Catherine Burke Band, Pete Morton, and Hatful of Rain.The first acts are Show of Hands, Dizraeli and the Small Gods, Karine Polwart, Carrie Rodriguez, The Urban Folk Quartet, Sarah Savoy and the Francadians, Sheelanagig, Martha Tilston, Dyer:Cummings, The Klezbians, and Miranda Sykes & Rex Preston.
Tickets
An early bird adult weekend ticket is priced at £80, a youth weekend ticket (aged 12-17yrs) is priced at £45, children aged under 12 weekend tickets are priced at £10. Day tickets will available at a later date. To buy tickets, click here.Camping
The festival campsite is large with a tents-only field and a campers and caravans field where tents and vehicles can be parked fairly close together. Camping is free with weekend tickets from 10am Friday to Monday afternoon. Overnight camping is available for day ticket-holders at £10 adult (£5 youth and children 3-10 years), payable on arrival at the site. Camping is available Thursday 22 August at same price for all festival ticket holders.Campfires
