Radio 1's Big Weekend is a music festival run by BBC Radio 1, who will hold their annual free music festival at Stockwood Park, Luton. This year the free festival will take place over three days, from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th May 2024.
The Big Weekend takes place in a different location every year, this year landing in Luton. It is the biggest free live music event in the UK and always includes a host of new artists.
Line-up
Becky Hill and Chase & Status will headline Friday. Also confirmed for Friday are Rudimental and Ella Henderson as well as Dimension, Diplo, Kenya Grace and Hannah Laing and many more.

Tickets
Friday, Saturday and Sunday Tickets will cost £29.50 (+£4.50 booking fee per ticket). Refunds will only be considered if the event is cancelled or postponed. Tickets will be sold in pairs (or individually) and you can only purchase a maximum of two tickets per person per day (Friday or Saturday or Sunday).
You will have the option to pay via a payment plan with Klarna, Clearpay or Paypal.
On Friday 24th May, Saturday 25th May and Sunday 26th May there is no age restriction for the event; however those aged 15 and under will need to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over at all times. If you are under 18 please ensure you have permission from your parent and guardian to attend. Those aged 2 and under do not require a ticket, but must be in the care of an adult aged 18 or over.
Tickets are free and obtained through a lottery. The festival organisers make an effort to prioritise local residents and tickets are limited to one pair per person. There is no charge for the concert itself, but a handling fee per ticket will be applied to help cover all associated ticket-handling costs.
