Another band I’d never heard of but on someone’s recommendation I head for the Carling Stage to see them. The music is upbeat and the crowd are loving it as I get there. Blimey they are good for a band who don’t have an album out yet. He’s wearing a shell suit coat though and I do wonder how he remains so cool, I’d be sweltering in it.

The crowd are clapping along to the very danceable and distinct percussion, which sounds like it’s made on wooden blocks. Both bass and drums combine for a great danceable tune every time and the basslines are lovely.

A band that are bound to be back as headliners in the future, the most polished performance I’ve seen since last year’s Arctic Monkeys for a band with no record out. Great tunes and bound to be all over the front covers of the indie music press. Very impressive.
