Now in it's twelfth year and featuring traditional Irish music, song and dance with 11 days of concerts, ceilidhs, workshops, sessions and talks taking place from at least three different venues in the borough of Camden, North London.

This year sees a changed format for Return to Camden Town Festival, with music and song events more concentrated over one long weekend and dance events on a separate weekend. From Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th October 2010: Concerts, sessions, music and song workshops and Friday 29th to Sunday 31st October 2010: Set Dancing, Céilí and dance workshops.

There will be more daytime as well as evening performances at the London Irish Centre on the music weekend as well as sessions and workshops - all corners of the venue will be a hive of activity from morning 'til night.

Line-up

Acts confirmed so far include: Matt Molloy, John Carty and Arty McGlynn, Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh (Altan) and Manus Lunny, Dervish, The Old De Danann, The London Lasses and Pete Quinn, Templehouse Ceili Band, Liz and Yvonne Kane and Edel Fox, Tony DeMarco Peter McAlinden (album launch), McNamara Ceili Band, and Anne Keane.

Tickets

An all inclusive Concert ticket (Thurs 21, Fri 22, Sat 23 x2, Sun 24) is priced at £50 (£40 concessions), with all inclusive Set Dancing Tickets (Fri 29: Ceilidh, Sat 30: 2 x workshops, 1 x Ceilidh, Sun 31: Ceilidh) priced at £40/£30 concessions. Other venues

The Festival will continue to host some events in other offsite venues in Camden, enabling us to take the Festival into the early hours. So if you're a concert going dancer, this year you don't have to be torn between events - the Festival will host a separate weekend of dancing with the usual highest standard quality music and teaching.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
