Boardmasters 2014

Boardmasters takes place over five days from Wednesday 6th to Sunday 10th August 2014 at a cliff-top location overlooking Watergate Bay, and Fistral Beach.

Boardmasters is held on  two sites near Newquay offering action sports including surf, skate, bmx, plus daily live music acts and the music festival.

Line-up

The weekend headliners Snoop Dogg, Chase & Status, and Bastille will be joined Ben Pearce, Palma Violets, Reel Big Fish, George Ezra, The Cribs, Peace, Yuck, 2manydjs, Duke Dumont, Roni Size, Bipolar Sunshine, Zane Lowe, Wilkinson, The Enemy, Dead Kennedys, Oneman, Elli Ingram, Scott Matthews, The Ramona Flowers, Goldierocks, A Plastic Rose, Isaiah Dreads, Amber Run, Bat and Ball, The Magnus Puto Band, Ghouls, Antimatador, The Cuban Brothers, Big Deal, Coves, Raleigh Ritchie, Lyger, Emily And The Woods, Saint Raymond, Eton Messy presents Eton Messy DJs, with Friend Within, Blonde, Issac Tichauer, and Bodhi. Also confirmed are DJ Ez, Kidnap Kid, Roska, My Nu Leng, Monki, Boy & Bear, MistaJam, Breton, Lewis Watson, The Feud, Panda, Darlia, Bruno Major, Re-Defeat vs Grunge, and more.

Plus Beach Sessions acts - Skindred, and Jettblack on Wednesday, and Fink, Sunset Sons, Thomas J Speight, and Marcus McCoan on Thursday.

Latest additions are Big Boss Man, The Mispers, Johnny Kowalski & The Sexy Weirdos, Lost Dawn, Mongolian Disco Show, Sounds Of Harlowe, Beans On Toast, The Big Sets, Comedy Hour, Livewire Acoustic Sessions, The Scarecrows, and Club Peel.

Tickets

An adult weekend ticket for 3 days is priced at £105, and £109 with camping. A four day ticket with camping is priced at £119. Deposit options are available. A Friday, Saturday of Sunday day ticket is priced at £43. Children aged 10 years and under can attend free but require a ticket.

Beach Sessions tickets are priced at £15.

Ticket refunds

Organisers have revealed refund details for those effected by Boardmasters' cancellation due to severe weather. The refund system is a complicated process and so they have published the tables (here) to calculate the amount of refund on offer to all ticket types.

Everyone will be remunerated according to whether they bought an early bird ticket or left it last minute and paid door prices.

If you bought your ticket through the links on this website, and you bought them by card via See Tickets and organisers promise you don’t need to do a thing. The refund will be made to you within 14 days. So no phone calls or emails necessary!

Surf, Skate & BMX Competitors

Boardmasters opens on Wednesday 6 August at Fistral Beach, the UK’s surfing mecca and will host the festival’s surf, BMX and skate competitions in addition to the ‘Beach Sessions’ gigs.

Fistral Beach, the surf capital of Cornwall, for sun, sea and surf action will host an array of surfers competing in the International Surf Competition. Surf categories will include Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Men’s Longboard, Pro Junior, Under 16’s and the Air Show. 

Camping

Official festival camping is situated within throwing distance of the Watergate Bay site.
