After last year's unfortunate cancellation because of severe weather, Boardmasters returns for its 40th years to take place over five days from Wednesday 5th to Sunday 9th August 2020 at a cliff-top location overlooking Watergate Bay, and Fistral Beach in Cornwall.

Held on two sites near Newquay Boardmasters offers action sports including surf, skate, bmx, plus daily live music acts and the music festival.

Line-up

Acts include Kings Of Leon, The 1975, Skepta, Blossoms, Dizzee Rascal, Hot Chip (DJ set), Sam Fender, Camelphat, The Kooks, Mura Masa, DJ EZ, Loyle Carner, Damian Marley, Andy C, Maribou State (DJ set), Lianne La Havas, Basement Jaxx (DJ set), Example, Palace, Elderbrook, Little Simz, Ocean Wisdom, Honey Dijon, Jeremy Loops, Mabel, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Kojey Radical, Pale Waves, Hybrid Minds Outline, Easy Life, and more, with more to be announced.

World Surf League

The surf competition will this year be included as part of the World Surf League qualifying series. Featuring as a Qualifying Series event, Boardmasters will host the Boardmasters international competitors for the Men’s Open, the Boardmasters Women’s Open and the Boardmasters Men’s and Women’s Longboard contests.
