Rise takes place from Saturday 13th to Saturday 20th December 2014 at a Les 2 Alpes ski resort, in the French Alps.

The festival offers a week of skiing and snowboarding combined with bands and DJs and Europe’s largest skiable glacier.

The resort

Les Deux Alpes is a ski resort in the French Isère département. The village sits at 1,650 m (5,413 ft) and lifts run to 3,600 m (11,811 ft). It has the largest skiable glacier in Europe and is France's second oldest ski resort behind Chamonix, where the largest mountain in western Europe is located, Mont Blanc. It has the longest, normally open full on-piste vertical available in the world. It is a 71 km (44 mi) drive southeast of Grenoble.

It is a stunning resort with glistening white snow, crisp, clean alpine air and breathtaking blue skies, as well as 225 km of ski runs, south facing views, 50 hotels and hostels, bars, restaurants, swimming pools and cinemas.

A trio of Europe's promoters are behind the newly launched event - Ibiza Rocks, Wasteland Ski and Rough Hill . Their week-long Winter affair includes live music from acts and DJs playing a series of indoor and outdoor venues. From the Ibiza Rocks Stage in the centre of town to the Snow Globe Arena and Ice Cube Stage to a selection of more intimate, alpine hangouts.

There's club night takeovers from UK club brands including Ibiza Rocks, Seedy Sonics, Shorebitch, Propoganda, Gin & Juice, Supa Dupa Fly, Creem, Running Wild, Gold Teeth, Apex, Cirque Du Soul, Itchy Feet, and Regression Sessions, plus outdoor pool parties and of course skiing, and boarding.
