Rockin'Sun Festival has been cancelled.

A statement from organisers says:

"First of all let me say a big thank you to all for your continuing support and patience. It is obvious by now that Rockin'Sun Festival will not be happening this year. As stated in older announcements the current economic climate is a big setback on trying to organize an event of this magnitude.

Never the less we are trying real hard to bring you the artists we promised in one way or another because we know that you demand to experience all these great performers live!."

Rockin'Sun Festival is a new festival held at the Polis Chrysochous Municipality Stadium at Polys Chrysochous in Pafos, Cyprus on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd June 2012.

Line-up

Over 30 artists both international and local will take over two stages.

Main Stage: Saturday Headliners are Apollo 440 and Sunday Headliners are Uriah Heep. The rest of the lineup includes: Children of Bodom, Dirtyphonics, Asian Dub Foundation, Nazareth, Sylosis, Tri-State Corner, Planet of Zeus, Blynd. More to be announced soon.

Second Stage: Karma Violens, Natural Selection, Pleymore, The Zilla Project, Waterblack. More to be announced soon.

Tickets

Early bird weekend tickets are priced at 60 euros and that will be available till the end of March. Pre-sale starts on the 2nd of April and weekend ticket will be priced at 70 euros, single-day ticket will cost 45 euros. On the day tickets will have a 10 euro extra charge for both weekend and single-day tickets. Children under 12 (Aged 11 or below) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Accommodation

Polis Chrysochous has a number of quality hotels, house rentals and also the most popular camping area in the island (just a few minutes away from the Festival location).

The event will also feature food, drinks, and market stalls.
