The cobbled fort town of Saint Malo, Brittany in France hosts this eclectic alternative music festival. The 32nd edition of the festival runs from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th of August 2024
The four day festival takes place in and around a seaside town in Brittany, with the main stage in the ruins of an old French castleand attracts around twenty five thousand festival goers, and promises bands and musicians on three stages.
Line-up
The festival will begin, like every summer, at La Nouvelle Vague for its traditional opening evening on August 14.
From Thursday August 15 to Saturday August 17 La Route Du Rock will settle in the majestic Fort de Saint-Père and on the Bon Secours and Éventail beaches at the foot of the Saint-Malo ramparts

Thursday August 15: THE KILLS, SLOWDIVE, SOULWAX, KAE TEMPEST, NATION OF LANGUAGE, BACKXWASH and ENOLA
Friday August 16: ÉTIENNE DAHO, BLONDE REDHEAD, METZ, BAR ITALIA, FAT DOG, DEBBY FRIDAY and DEEPER
Saturday August 17: AIR play Moon Safari, JOSÉ GONZÁLEZ plays Veneer, PROTOMARTYR and JESSICA WINTER

Getting there
St. Malo is easily accessible by ferry from Portsmouth, Poole... on the south coast.
Airports : Dinard Airport (Dinard to St. Malo is approx 10km) or Rennes Airport (50 min from St Malo by car)
Train network goes to St. Malo
