Salsa Kingdom 2009

Salsa Kingdom is held over the Friday 18th to Sunday 20th September and is a latin music & dance festival, happening at various different locations in Southport, Merseyside, in the North West of England.

Salsa Kingdom takes place at three locations around the seaside town all within close walking distance. The Princes Hotel and Southport Arts Centre will host all the dance workshops and in the evening the festival will move to the Southport Theatre and Floral Hall in the Southport Conference Centre for live stage shows‚ bands and DJ's.

The festival offers over 60 Dance Workshops‚ A New Musical The Magic Of Salsa Kingdom featuring a Salsa Orchestra‚ Singers and 20 of the world best dancers plus a Showcase to promote some of Europe's best Salsa Talent. Expect over 2000 Dancers in total this year.

The artists performing at this year's festival will include The New Swing Sextet.

Tickets are not yet available. Weekend tickets go on sale from Sunday 1st March and will be available from £89, (full price £150).

Note that there will be no accommodation included in the ticket price.
