Kids activities
Kids organised activites include den building, tree climbing, bushcraft skills, forest school, wild swimming, farm tours, storytelling in the woods, natural arts and crafts, star gazing and cookery lessons.
Adult activities
Adults have plenty to choose from too with The 'Me Time' Therapy Lounge, hot tubs, a bar serving everything from real ale to cocktails and post-watershed live entertainment in the Giant Tipi Centre Camp including a swing night (dancing, not car keys in a bowl!), The Starry Skies Cinema Club and The Battle of the Dad DJs.
There'll also be loads of activities for families to take part in together including the Family Sports Day and The Big BBQ.
Now in its third year, there are some exciting new activities planned. These include the Planetarium – where children can monitor the moon and learn about how stars work, plus the Woodland Tribe – where everyone is invited to become nature warriors in an area based on adventure playgrounds from all over the world. There will be singing sessions, bubble-making, windmill building to name but a few.
On site
Campers can expect lots of Shambala style flourishes and attention to detail, for additional fees festival goers can have a campfire set up for them and dressing up boxes will be dotted around the site. There are also luxury yurts for hire, hot showers, compost loos, wheelbarrows and helpers for transporting gear to and from the car and lots of undercover areas adorned with cushions and rugs.
The onsite restaurant, Henry's Beard Café, will serve homemade, locally sourced fare throughout the day and the camp shop will be well stocked with delicious local produce to cook on your campfire. As an optional extra, campers can even have fresh croissants, bread and papers delivered to their tents each morning.
