A week filled with folk music, singing, dancing, pub sessions, concerts, and cream teas, focused in the centre of Sidmouth, Devon and on the sea front.
The dates for the 63rd year of Sidmouth are Friday 4th to Friday 11th August 2017.
As well as live music, expect ceilidh dances, social dance bands & callers, workshops, a dance display, processions, craft fair, a themed children's festival, fun and games and more, with the festival spread across several venues throughout the town, over an 8 day period.

Camping charges
There will be charges for using the campsite. A week camping pass is available if you have bought an All-in-One, week ticket, or Campsite Passport.
Week ticket prices: Adult £60, Youngsters (6-17) £25, Child (5 and under) free.
Weekend ticket prices: Adult £30, Youngsters (6-17) £15, Child (5 and under) free.
Day ticket: Adult £15, Youngsters (6-17) £8, Child (5 and under) free.
Camping
The Campsite is located about 1.5 miles from the seafront, on Bulverton Road, B3176, and is open from noon on Wednesday 30th July, until noon on Saturday 9th August. All-In-One and Week Ticket holders andCamping Passport holders can purchase camping throughout this period. Weekend, Day and Event Ticketholders can purchase camping for the appropriate night(s). Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Camping is free for children under 12. The Campsite Family Deal is available for two adults and up to three youths.
Workshops
There will also be several workshops, some are planned as a series, with a performance usually planned for the end of the week.
