Snowboxx takes place from Friday 22nd to Thursday 28th March 2013 at Andorra's premier ski resort, Arinsal in Vallnord. The festival offers a week of skiing and snowboarding combined with DJs.

Line-up

The line-up of headline DJs and grassroots UK and Balearic talent includes Roses Gabor, The Other Tribe (DJ Set), Pedestrian, Real Nice, Brandon Block, Ian Redman, Mighty Mouse, Gorgon City, D/R/U/G/S, Thomas Gandey, Charlie Banks, eLDOKO, Gottwood, Sounddhism, Eton Messy, Gold Teeth, Yoghurt Warrior, Oxymoron, Solid Grooves, Data Transmission, and The Credence DJs.

The resort

Arinsal is in the Vallnord ski area and has an altitude of 2560m ensuring snowy peaks throughout the season. From gentle, open pistes for complete rookies, to huge powder bowls and tree-lined runs for experts, the area offers skiing and boarding landscapes for all levels. It has 40,000 square metres of freestyle terrain, with a half-pipe, rails, kickers, boxes and a designated chill-out space.

For complete novices or for those wanting some top tips to improve their snow skills, Vallnord offers an excellent ski and snowboard school, with English speaking instructors.

Connected by cable car to the neighbouring resort of Pal, the area is collectively known as Vallnord and is famed for its slopes, nightlife, and cheap prices.

Tickets

Tickets have sold out. Tickets not including flights could be purchased. With packages including 6 nights accommodation, 5 days skiing, lift pass, and festival entry wristband from only £199.99.

Arinsal lies in the heart of the Pyrenees, is nestled between France and Spain and is connected to neighbouring Pal. Just three and a half hours from Barcelona and Toulouse Airport, the resort is easy to reach.

Fly to either Barcelona, Toulouse or Girona/Gerona (sometimes written as Barcelona Girona by Ryanair) and get a transfer to the festival. Transfers are bookable when you book your place, and can be added on at any point. Flights cost about £60-100 return, and return transfers are £50 from Barcelona and £60 from Toulouse or Girona.

Coaches

Snowboxx will be running a coach from the UK - picking up at Manchester, Birmingham, London and Dover. It will be overnight travel, but its definitely the laziest way to do it door to door and only £150 for the return journey. This can be booked when you book your place.

By car

Organisers suggest driving is definitely an option. And the cheapest option if there is 4 of you in the car. Arinsal is only 14 hours drive from London so it will take a couple of drivers. They estimate that driving will cost around £100 per person for the return journey, including ferry and tolls, based on 4 in a car.

More information will be here when available.
