Started in 2104 Somersault Festival a 'summercamp of music, adventure, and outdoor living' takes place at Castle Hill in Barnstaple, North Devon.
Organisers plan to offer every ounce of what a summer holiday was once about, from under-canvas encampments of crafts & workshops, and culture to circus shows and theatre, to fun-fuelled campfire feasts, field kitchens with the best new chefs, midnight parties, and fireside festivities by night.
Following 2015's weather conditions and subsequent discussions with the estate, both Lord and Lady Arran and the Somersault festival organisers recognise the need to take a break and allow the land some time to recover, and so they decided to take a year out in 2016.
