Liverpool Sound City runs for four days and nights from Tuesday 27th until Friday 30th May and is held at the Hard Days Night Hotel and multiple venues and spaces in Liverpools cultural quarter.
During the days the Hard Days Night Hotel and the Cavern Club, play host to a musical industry conference. Each night there will be bands, DJs and artists performing at many venues, spaces and clubs throughout the city. There will be dozens of parties and gigs, including an unsigned festival featuring new acts coming into Liverpool from all over the world, and parties hosted by festivals and labels each showcasing some of their biggest names and rising stars.
Liverpool Sound City also features conferences and panels with seasoned veterans and younger voices offering their opinions and ruminations on everything from the classic Manchester v Liverpool debate to the future of music production and publishing. The festival will climax on Friday 30th May with a large live music event.
Reverend and the Makers, Mystery Jets, Laura Marling, Silver Jews, DJ Yoda, The Wombats, A Human, Infadels, Lightspeed Champion, Eugene McGuiness, The Metros, Make Model, iwasacubscout, The Whip, Santogold, Robots In Disguise, and The Dykeenies are all confirmed with label showcases from Wall of Sound, Moshi Moshi, Deltasonic, and many more will be added to the line-up. There will also be over 100 unsigned bands playing across the city during Liverpool Sound City.

Red Bull Bedroom Jam will be hosting the only venue for 2008 that will be open to under 18's. The venue will be Heebie Jeebies on Seel Street in Liverpool and will feature 7 bands from 3-9pm. The line up will include The Wombats, Dykeenees, Cheeky Cheeky and the Nosebleeds and many more.
Tickets are priced at £60 for all evening shows and events (£50 early bird), £100 for conference, or £140 for all evening shows, events and conference (£120 early bird).
