This festival has been postponed from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd May 2020, and first re-arranged for Friday 25th to Sunday 27th September 2020, and now postponed until 2021. Organiser's statement.

Liverpool Sound City will celebrate its 13th year around Liverpool's Baltic Triangle. Sound City features emerging bands, artists and performers from across the world and closer to home, as well as genre-defining headliners.
There's a new expanded 3-day format for the rescheduled festivals and conferencve, with Friendly Fires headlining on the Friday, Pale Waves on Saturday, and Red Rum Club on Sunday, with a launch party on the Thursday at District headlined by Fickle Friends.
The Sound City + conference will now include a revised programme of events across all three days, as the industry addresses the challenges arising from the COVID-19 lockdown. SC+ and VIP ticket holders will be able to catch an exclusive show from Working Men’s Club at the Cavern on Friday night
Line-up
Confirmed acts include headliners Friendly Fires, Pale Waves, Red Rum Club, along with The Blinders, Marika Hackman, The Lathums, Stealing Sheep, The Snuts, The Mysterines, Jamie Webster, Louis Berry, Bad Sounds, and more, with more to be announced.

Tickets
Tickets are on sale, currently priced at £55 for a weekend ticket, or £29 for a Saturday or Sunday ticket.

The venues are expected to be: Great Baltic Warehouse, Constellations, Camp and Furnace, Baltic Market, Hangar 34, District, Unit 51, Baltic Social, Red Door Vintage, The Tank Room, 24 Kitchen Street, Northern Lights, Hinterland, Craft Minded, Black Lodge Brewery and Tap And Still.
