Southern Lights festival is back for a fifth year. A circus arts and music festival held from the Thursday 9th until Sunday 12th June returning to the grounds of a stately home, Smedmore House, in a little village called Kimmeridge on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset.

Southern Lights Festival is a family fire, circus arts and music festival based in beautiful rural Dorset with a heavy workshop bias, plus street shows, walkabouts, The Tree House Theatre' providing entertainment suitable for smaller children, welly wanging, crazy games and a mad hatters tea party or two, there are good times to be had by all.

Line-up

Jev Smith, Nik Robson-King, Laura Charms, The Marky Jay Show, Ben French, Monkey Puzzle, Tallowah, Safe Breakers, DJ Hands on, Krista Green, Pete Mathews, DJ Lively, The Fearne Duo, Patrik Elmnert, Ed Adams, Silvia Pavone, Pete Matthews, Marky Jay, Fearne, Chimera Circus, Shmoo, Reza Samad, Lost Shaman, Loz Eggington + Lilikoi, and Jev Smith. There's also a host of workshops on over the weekend.

Entertainment

The day time entertainment is led by workshops in a full spectrum of circus arts including poi, staff, devil stick, Diablo, hula hoop etc. For beginners right through to the most advanced. 'The Treehouse Theatre' will be back for a fifth year to keep all your little ones entertained right up until tea time.

The night time entertainment is brought to life by spectacular fireshows and great music.

Tickets

Early bird tickets are no longer available. Adult weekend tickets, including camping, are priced at £68, junior (aged 2 - 16 years) tickets £25, children aged under 2 can attend for free. To buy tickets, click here.

On-site

Southern Lights will have the addition of an all night chai café and main festival camp fire, toilets and showers. Tents, teepee's & live-in vehicles are welcome. No pets except for guide dogs. The site is open from 12 noon Friday until 10am Monday.
