With a full line-up of DJs and live performances, there are 4 different arenas where weekenders can enjoy an eclectic mix of House, R'n'B, Soul, Breakbeats, Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop and Garage music.

This is the 44th Southport Weekender taking place from Friday 8th until Sunday 10th May 2009. With more than 20 years of twice annual events, plans are again underway for another special line-up.

The line-up has been announced and includes live performances by Dwele, Roy Ayers & Bah Samba, Nate James, Incognito, N’dambi, Ann Nesby, Ms Dynamite, Montell Jordan, Kaidi Tatham, Stephanie Mckay, Marc De Clive Lowe with Phlash & Friends.

The DJ line-up includes Jazzy Jeff, Kerri Chandler, DJ Spen, Danny Krivit, Ron Trent, Alix Alvarez, The Martinez Brothers, Kevin Yost, Halo, Joey Negro, Marcus Worgull, Sting International, Kiko Navarro, Wajeed (Pied Pipers), The Dreem Teem, Atjazz, Ig Culture, Phlash & Friends (Phil Asher), Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson, The Fanatx (Neil Pierce & Aaron Ross), Steve Sutherland, Dr Bob Jones, Kev Beadle, Eddy Meets Yannah, Snowboy, Shortee Blitz, Rampage, Scott Bradford, Ronnie Herel, Manny Norte, DJ Swerve, Steve Butler, Colin Patterson, Terry Jones, Andy Davies, Mike Stephens, Gary Dennis, Bob Jeffries, DJ B, Simon ‘Schoolboy’ Phillips, Steve Wren, Bigger, Simon Mansell, Rone Jaxx, Jaylen, Jonathan, Max Rees, DJ Da Costa.

Tickets have sold out, they were priced at £150 per person. Places could be secured with a £40 deposit. The price included accommodation for 2 nights and 3 days in fully equipped self-catering apartments with use of all site facilities and entry to all dance arenas and live performances.
