Southport Weekender 2009

With a full line-up of DJs and live performances, there are 4 different arenas where weekenders can enjoy an eclectic mix of House, R'n'B, Soul, Breakbeats, Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop and Garage music.

This is the 45th Southport Weekender taking place from Friday 6th until Sunday 8th November 2009. This being the second of the twice annual events.

The line-up includes India, Mica Paris, Jazzanova, Paul Randolph, The Sunburst Band, Azymuth, Zed Bias Experience featuring Omar,Tawiah & Jenna G, Donaeo, Yasmeen, Jazzie B (Soul II Soul), DJ Spinna, Matt Jam Lamont, Steve Sutherland, Shortee Blitz, Frankie Knuckles, Kenny Dope, Nicky Siano, Mr Scruff, The Unabombers, Terry Jones, Andy Davies, Gary Dennis, Bob Jones, Bob Jeffries, Norman Jay, Gilles Peterson, Henrik Schwarz (Live), Recloose, and more. Plus The Saturday afternoon House Session with Scott Bradford, Colin Patterson & Steve Butler.

Tickets are on sale priced at £150 per person. Places are able to be secured with a deposit of £40. The price will include accommodation for 2 nights and 3 days in fully equipped self-catering apartments with use of all site facilities and entry to all dance arenas and live performances. The only chalets left are 6 berth & 4 berth. Places can be secured by either paying in full or a simple £40 deposit.
