Located by the River Welland, and framed by the backdrop of the towers and spires of the ancient market town of Stamford, this event forms the culmination of the annual Stamford Festival and features over 40 musical acts running over four stages, art exhibitions, sculpture, a dedicated children's marquee, fairground rides, a procession through the town, craft and trade stalls, a fireworks finale and the town's beer festival.
Beginning at 12.15pm, the line-up on the Riverside Stage is as follows: Within; Plastic Hip; Slipstream; Trufflefoot; Moosejaw; Tony Hill's Fiction; Chancer; Liquid Laugh; David Wyatt; Kissmet; Mr Gone; and finally, Lion Train at 9.35pm.
The Marquee Stage opens at noon and the mainly punk, rock and indie line-up is as follows: Neo; Qual; Millichips Locker; Kingcow; Don't Look Down; Atticus Finch; $UP; Victims of Noise (formerly Sckism); The More I See; Wasted; March to the Grave; and finally at 9pm, Big 10.
The Riverside Dance Tent opens at 5.30pm and features a variety of dance music from the likes of DJ String; RedRawHeadStretcher; Ian Alvey; Kid Sample; Stooshka (featuring MC Delight) and G Rolla.
The Acoustic Tent features a mixture of folk, blues, jazz and acoustic music, kicking off at 12.15pm with The Bouveman Brothers followed by The HaveNots; Blue Room; Gina Dootson; Neon Love; Dick Appleton; Bryter Layter; Cold Overture; Butterfly Polite; Vikki Clayton; Paspatou; and Hazel O'Connor, ending with a performance from the City University South African Jazz Ensemble at 9.30pm.
