The 7th annual Riverside Festival is a friendly one-day event held on the first Saturday in July. Taking place by the river Welland, close to the historic town of Stamford, Lincolnshire, the event is free and organised by volunteers.
You can expect live music from 30 Acts over 3 main stages, The Riverside Stage (local bands and guest artists from across the UK),The Marquee Stage (indie, emo, metal, rock, punk, etc) and The Acoustic Stage (acoustic, folk, jazz, world and blues).
There will also be a Buskers stage for anyone who feels like having a go, a beer festival featuring over 20 real ales & ciders, food outlets and stalls, childrens entertainment and fairground rides and a firework finale.
Unfortunately, Kissmet, who were due to headline the Riverside Stage, have had to pull out of this year's Riverside Festival for personal reasons. The organisers are busy finding a replacement - details will be announced as soon as available.
the Riverside stage will feature bands such as The Wednesdays, Bleeding Hearts, Groove Cartel, The Vow, and more. Topping the bill on the Marquee Stage (this year without the Marquee) is The Ruined, with other acts such as Yello Snow, HelloGeiger, Revenue, and more.
There will be more information here when it becomes available, or see the official website.
