Now in its fifth year, and staged by the non-profitmaking Woodworks Music and Dance organisation, Woodworks claims to encourage participation and enjoyment of the folk arts, drawing on assistance from the local community. Along with a UK-wide network of musicians, dancers, tutors and enthusiasts, opportunities are provided for people of all ages to come together to learn, listen, network, and enjoy live music.
Rory McLeod, Broderick, Eric Roche and Mundy-Turner are amongst the performers, and there'll be workshops in didgeridoo, button accordion, songwriting, vocal harmonies, irish fiddle, Cajun dance and much more at different venues around the town.
