Stranraer RNLI Park Fest takes place at Agnew Park, Stranraer, in Dumfries and Galloway from Friday 17th and Saturday 18th August 2012.
A fundraising family fun day in aid of the RNLI's inshore lifeboats, with live bands, a fair, craft stalls, the marine lake and more. On Friday evening there's a new event  the Young Guns Night.
Line-up
Friday: Young Guns Night - a showcase of the best of local young talent.
Saturday 18th: Music and fun all day long. Act include The Ruckstars, Xavia, Ade Payne, Eric Faulkner, Zoe Bestel, The Sara Douglas Band, and more.
Tickets
The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £15, and £5 for children aged from 12 - 16 years, children aged under 12 can enter for free as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult, with a Young Guns night ticket priced at £5. Tickets are available from Brushstrokes and Simpsons Bakers in Stranraer & Newton Stewart, and Smugglers Cove in Portpatrick.
The event also will have a Fun Fair, Craft Stalls, Face Painting, Lochryan Pipe Band, Cheerleaders,and much more.
Entrance to the park is FREE.
All in aid of the Stranraer Inshore Lifeboat.
Accommodation
This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
