Organised by friends of the late Joe Strummer, this is intended to be a celebration and tribute run on a not-for-profit basis. This year's Strummercamp Festival returns to Manchester Rugby Club, Cheadle Hulme, in Cheshire from Friday 1st until Sunday 3rd June 2012.
Line-up
The Jim Jones Revue top the bill on Saturday, and New Model Army headline the Sunday night. Also confirmed are Crazy Arm, I.C.H., Electric River, The Murderburgers, Tornadic Ukulele, Goldblade, Neck, The Lovely Eggs, V Thirteen, Stand Out Riot, Beat The Red Light, Revenge Of The Psychotronic Man, Hated Til Proven, Acid Drop, Faintest Idea, Only Strangers, Bootscraper, Rising Strike, Run Out The Guns, L, Smokey Bastard, The Melodicas New Reed, Louise Distras, and more. Loads more acts will be announced soon along with the mainstage Saturday night headliners with over 60 acts playing next year. Tickets
The early bird offer has ended. An adult weekend ticket including camping is priced at £65, a child aged under 16's weekend ticket is priced at £25, and children aged under 10 tickets (accompanied by an adult) are free. A family ticket for 2 Adults + 2 Children is priced at £100. Campervans and caravans are both allowed - no additional charge for either. To buy tickets, click here.Evening passes
Strummercamp are introducing a special evening pass priced at £25. These passes are strictly limited to just 100 per evening & are valid from 6pm-11pm on your chosen night. Day tickets are already available for Saturday and Sunday priced at £35.Opening times
Gates are expected to open at 3pm on Friday. Saturday and Sunday gates open at 9am and the first band will be on stage at 12 Noon. Day ticket holders must be off site by Midnight of their chosen day. Weekend ticket holders must check off the site no later than noon on Monday.Ethos
