Organised by friends of the late Joe Strummer, this is intended to be a celebration and tribute run on a not-for-profit basis. This year's Strummercamp Festival returns to Manchester Rugby Club, Cheadle Hulme, in Cheshire over spring bank holiday weekend from Friday 26th until Sunday 28th May 2017.

Line-up

The Main stage line-up is announced as:

Friday: The Crash Mats, Bexatron, Klonk!, Ruff Trade, Attila the Stockbroker, The Hurriers, with "The Gadge"

Saturday: Membranes, The Wakes, Newtown Neurotics, TV Sm!th, Rory Mcleod, The Northern Embezzlers, The Kopek Millionaires, Toxic, Tony Auton

Sunday: Spear of Destiny, Neck, Departments, Chron Gen, Nosebleed, Headsticks, Trevor Roots, Buffalo Soldiers, Four Candles, George Borowski, Run out the Guns, Station 5

On other stages across the weekend there will also be performances by: UKE Punk, The Lone Groover, Laura Taylor, Kieran King, Mauri, Eliza P & The Disco Misfits, Fro, Pico and Puppetual Motion, Alex Keelan, Adventures of Salvador, Joe Solo, Damien Maddison, Chris Tavener, Argh Kid, Thick Richard, Dave Viney, Joy France, Beware Monsters, Peter Slater, Pope Columbine & The Cardinal Sin, Captain of the Lost Waves, Sam Small Cathy Crabb with more to be announced.

Festival goers can also expect comedy, all day bar/food, toilets and disabled toilet facilities, and more.

Tickets are priced at £65 for adults, £40 for children, and £170 for a family ticket. All tickets include camping.

Opening times

Gates are expected to open at 3pm on Friday. Saturday and Sunday gates open at 9am and the first band will be on stage at 12 Noon. Day ticket holders must be off site by Midnight of their chosen day. Weekend ticket holders must check off the site no later than noon on Monday.

Ethos

Strummercamp is a not for profit venture presented organised and staffed entirely by volunteers. It is not connected, affiliated or a subsidiary of any other organisation.

In addition to the music, the art show, camping, food and booze this year' sees the debut of Instant Stage's outdoor cinema, and Windrushe mobile will also be providing a radio clash just bring an FM radio to tune in.
