Summer Sonic is an annual Japanese festival, now in it's 17th year taking place on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st August at the twin sites of Chiba Marine Stadium & Makuhari Messe, Tokyo and Maishima Sports Island, Osaka.

Expect more than 120 acts across 8 stages including Radiohead, The 1975, Flo Rida, [Alexandros], James Bay, Mark Ronson, The Jacksons, Suede, Two Door Cinema Club, Blossoms, Cashmere Cat, Elle King, Underworld, Fergie, The Offspring, Alesso, Weezer, Pentatonix, At The Drive-In, Bullet For My Valentine, Panic! At The Disco, Andy Black, Billy Talent, Charlie Puth, Coldrain, Digitalism, Monoeyes, Pvris, R5, Rat Boy, Tonight Alive, Knock Out Monkey, Lisa, Metafive, The Mirror Trap, Mayer Hawthorne, Mø, Nothing But Thieves, Pop Etc, Run River North, Sunflower Bean, Indigo La End, Plenty, Swanky Dank, Swv, Musiq Soulchild, various local acts, and more.
Tickets
Tickets are priced at 29,500 yen for Tokyo, and 24,500 yen for Osaka.
The majority of the bands playing in Osaka the first day go to Chiba (Tokyo) the following day and vice versa. The line-up is a mix of international acts alongside local ones from both major and indie record companies.
