The Sunningwell Festival is now in it's fifthth year. It will take place from Friday 28th May to Sunday 6th June, in the centre of the little village of Sunningwell, only 5 miles from Oxford.

The festival offers a line-up of pop music, opera, theatre, choral and instrumental concerts,Morris Dancing, art exhibitions, mini iron man competitions and even a dog show.

Events scheduled for the festival are as follows:

Friday 28th May 4pm: Wind in the Willows starring Sunningwell Primary School
Saturday 29th May to Monday 31st May 10am-5pm: Art Student Exhibition with Cafe
Saturday 29th May 7.30pm: Colla Voce, Choral Concert at St Leonards Church
Sunday 30th May 3pm: The Byrd Chorus, a choral and instrumental concert at St Leonards Church
Monday 31st May 2pm: Folk Singers Workshop at Bayworth Chapel
Monday 31st May 6pm for 6.30pm concert: Morris Dancing followed by Breaking with Tradition, folk music concert, Sunningwell Pond
Tuesday 1st June 7.30pm: Back to the Land Girls by Badapple Theatre Company, Village Hall
Wednesday 2nd June 7.30pm: Gulliver’s Travels by Watermill Touring Theatre, Village Hall
Thursday 3rd June 7.30pm: The Last Night of the Pirates on the Pond by Opera Anywhere & The East Oxford Community Choir, Sunningwell Pond
Friday 4th June 7.30pm: Third Degree LeBurn concert, Sunningwell Pond
Saturday 5th June 2pm: mini iron man competition with Tom Alden, Sunningwell Pond
Saturday 5th June 4pm: Dog Show, Sunningwell Pond
Saturday 5th June 7.30pm: The Last Night of the Pirates on the Pond by Opera Anywhere & The East Oxford Community Choir, Sunningwell Pond
Sunday 6th June 11am: Ecumenical worship on the Pond
Sunday 6th June 2pm: The Gathering concert, Sunningwell Pond

Ticket prices vary for the different nights. To buy tickets here or call box office 01865 735910.

Parking

Free car parking will be available at all venues. During the pond events the road through Sunningwell will be closed, it is therefore recommended that festival goers enter Sunningwell via the Wootton Road and park in the spaces provided at the cricket field or village hall.

Festival goers can bring picnics or take advantage of the Cafe which will be open most days or the fully licensed bar which will be open during evening performances.
