SWINGAMAJIG 2018 IS CANCELLED/POSTPONED
Dear Swingamajig family
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Swingamajig Festival 2018 will no longer be going ahead as planned, due to circumstances beyond our control. Full refunds are available to all tickets buyers - but we will still be throwing a party on the bank holiday weekend - keep reading to find out more.
This year has been incredibly challenging for us. We lost a significant part of our previous site a few months ago when the Rainbow Warehouse lost its licence, and we had to completely rework the festival. Despite securing a new licensed layout and working day and night to keep the ship afloat, we have now been told that we can not have our main stage as planned. This makes it impossible for us to deliver the event you would expect and quite frankly we have too much respect and love for our crowd, to want to give you anything but the best.
As a team we are absolutely devastated, but we are determined to stay positive and are busily looking into our options for rescheduling. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and (hopefully!) your understanding. We will be back - we don't know quite when yet but we'll let you know as soon as we can.
LET'S HAVE A BANK HOLIDAY PARTY ANYWAY.
We are going to put on an intimate, Swingamajig style 'Speakeasy bash' on Sunday 6th of May - to try and cheer you (and us) up a bit. The event will be held in Birmingham and feature the Electric Swing Circus and C@ In The H@ for starters.
REFUND OPTIONS AND INFORMATION
Everyone who has purchased tickets for Swingamajig Festival 2018 is entitled to a full, face value refund immediately (excluding booking fee). The TicketSellers have just sent out an email on our behalf, which gives you steps to follow, to claim your refund, as well as giving all Swingamajig ticket holders the chance to bag your spot at our replacement event, for £5. Please keep an eye out in your inbox for this email, bearing in mind it might be in your Promotions or Spam folders.
Once again, we want to say thank you from the very bottom of our hearts for your support so far. We apologise unreservedly for any disappointment this postponement causes. We hope to see as many of you as possible on the 6th May, regardless.
Lots (and lots!) of love, from your Swingamajig team x
