The 14th Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival sees the event expand to a 3 day event taking place on Thursday 3rd to Saturday 5th August 2017.

Line-up

Confirmed acts include headliners The Pretenders, Franz Ferdinand, and  Sister Sledge (Thursday), plus Twin Atlantic, First Aid Kit, Feeder, Birdy, KT Tunstall, Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes, Honeyblood, Colonel Mustard and Dijon Five, and many more.

New this year, The Temple Of Dub stage will host Scotland’s best in reggae, roots, dub and a dash of jungle alongside "a world renowned line up of artists".

For the third year running, there is an option to buy three day tickets to include a programme of artists on the main stage on the Thursday night, in addition to the traditional two day tickets.

Tickets are in the form of E-tickets and a limited number of hard tickets. Weekend tickets are priced at £117. Three day tickets are priced at £142. Campervan/caravan tickets are priced at £70, and electrical hook-up are priced at £92. (all plus booking fees). Children 12 and under attend free on all days.

A deposit scheme is available on standard weekend tickets, and upgrades from weekends to 3 days are also available.

E-tickets will be on sale via the festival website, and printed tickets are available from the usual agents including: Inverness – The Ironworks, Eden Court Theatre, Caffery’s and Hootananny’s; Kiltarlity – Post Office; Beauly – Morrison’s; Dingwall – Sweet Treats; Elgin – Sound & Vision; Aberdeen – Aberdeen Performing Arts; Edinburgh and Glasgow – TicketsScotland.

When buying tickets on-line Bella patrons are being given an opportunity to contribute to the Archie Foundation, a charity which is helping to improve children’s hospital facilities in the Highlands.

Around the site

Thursday car parks and camping areas will be open from 8am again after this year’s successful trial run to encourage patrons to arrive in a steadier flow throughout the day to reduce traffic congestion. Arenas will open from 1pm on the Thursday.

Belladrum offers plenty of interest aside from the music, including an array of entertainment for children, although the fairground rides will not be on site this year. Attractions include street theatre, cabaret, cinema, dance, alternative therapies, stalls, food and drink.
