On Saturday 2nd August 2008 the renowned Hallé Fireworks and Light Spectacular will return to the stunning lakeside setting at Tatton Park for its season finale concert. This has been an incredible year for the Hallé, who this year celebrate their 150th anniversary. The concert will incorporate one of the music world's most spectacular and extensive firework displays, synchronised this year to extracts from Holst's famous Planet Suite: Mars, Saturn and Jupiter.

This year's programme will be conducted by John Wilson and celebrates Cheshire's Year of Gardens 08. It will include classical masterpieces such as Tchaikovsky's Waltz of the Flowers from The Nutcracker, excerpts from Wagner's Lohengrin and Grieg's Peer Gynt, great works by Dvorák, J Strauss and Berlioz, and the famous Dam Busters March by Coates.

Gates open at 5pm with the event commencing at at 8.15pm. Grass tickets £25 (no concessions). Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. Free car park from 3pm. To buy tickets click here.

On Sunday 3rd August 2008 Tatton Park will play host to one of the biggest parties this summer with over five hours of music. Music comes from Bjorn Again with The Music of Dirty Dancing, it promises to be a packed evening of classic hits for all your friends and family.The event is in association with Francis House Children's Hospice, who provide care and support to children with life-limiting conditions from all over the North-West. There will be a series of fundraising activities throughout the day & night to raise money for this worth-while cause.

The gates will 3pm and there will also be a free car park from that time too, with live bands playing from 5pm. Grass tickets are priced at £29.00 with concessions priced at £20 for Seniors and children 5-15 years. A family ticket for 4 people (max 2 adults) costs £80 (please bring proof of age with you for entry into the arena). Children under 5 go free - no ticket required.
