Win a pair of tickets to The Green Gathering
Just answer the simple question below! The Green Gathering is offering eFestivals' readers a chance to win a pair of tickets to this year's festival.
More than three decades after the first Green Gathering was held on Glastonbury's Worthy Farm, this solar and wind powered festival will return for its fourth year to Piercefield Park - a wooded and landscaped estate just 18 miles from Bristol - on 31st July to 3rd August 2014.
An award-winning family friendly event, The Green Gathering combines the usual festival entertainment with speakers and skillshares on a low-impact, sustainable communities theme. Workshops in traditional crafts, permaculture and renewable energy compete for your time with poetry slams, radical cinema, wood-fired saunas and capoeira classes.
The live music line-up includes 3 Daft Monkeys, Seize The Day, Nik Turner, Tarantism, Billy Rowan, Rory McLeod, Pikey Beatz, Society of Imaginary Friends, The Majestic and dozens more up-and-coming bands as well as festival favourites, plus DJs Libby Lawes, Gary Clail and the northern circuit's Love Shack Jocks-on-tour. A Raconteurs' Stage hosts poets and comics such as John Hegley and Salena Godden, and in the Speakers' Forum festival-goers get chance to debate with Green politicians, alt-tech entrepreneurs and charismatic activists.
Advance adult tickets £90; Youth (11-15yrs) £50; Children (under 11) Free. Car pass £20, Live-in vehicle £40. Booking fees apply.
