FrENDzy - the annual surf competition and after party - takes place in a secluded wooded valley at St Buryan on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th September 2013.

Line-up

Friday from 6pm live music from Blue Horyzon and a host of other local bands still be added to the line-up. Heading up the comedy aspect of the evening is local pianist and singer Dan Levine.

There will also be a family disco and children’s entertainment including a bouncy castle.

The West Cornwall Crew Surf Competition takes place at noon on Saturday. Teams of four are invited to enter the surf competition to try and wrestle the crown from last year’s winners St Agnes.

The entertainment starts again on Saturday at FrENDzy from 2pm, and runs until 6am, with a line-up of local DJs and bands; most of whom are regulars at The Masked Ball.

Weekend tickets are priced at £25, including camping. Friday tickets are £8 while Saturday tickets are £20. Proceeds from FrENDzy will be used to support a local good cause.

This year, there will be several new-curated areas including a space dedicated to the surfer and photographer Jacob Cockle who tragically drowned earlier this summer. The Masked Ball production team have been drafted in to transform the wooded valley into a scintillating trail of surprises, with secret areas, mesmerising visuals and unusual installations.

For those wishing to camp in style, bell tents, tepees and ‘hobbit huts’ - can be hired for the weekend.
