Truck is one of the UK's best and longest standing independent small festivals, a village fete meets Woodstock with a cutting edge musical policy, free of any sponsorship or corporate agenda. Held in family friendly, safe and secure surroundings overflowing with entertainment, it's about music, community and being outdoors. The thirteenth Truck festival takes place over the weekend of Friday 23rd until Sunday 25th July 2010.

Line-up

Acts confirmed for 2010 include headliners Mew and Teenage Fanclub, plus Mercury Rev Blood Red Shoes, Bellowhead, Mercury Rev, Esben And The Witch, Egyptian Hip Hop, Fonda 500, Future Of The Left, Good Shoes, Lau, Little Fish, Los Campesinos!, Ms Dynamite, Stornoway, This Town Needs Guns, DJ Zinc, and many more. Tickets

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £80. This year Truck have introduced a Teen Trucker ticket at the reduced price of £60 - and keen truckers can get the party started early by getting one of the very limited-edition Friday night camping tickets (for an additional £15). Children under 12 years old can go free but must be accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets for Saturday are priced at £49 and tickets for Sunday are £44.

Camping

Camping is available within a stone's throw of the action. No dogs, barbecues (of any kind), campfires, sound-systems (this does not mean your small Sony cd player), or glass.

Getting there

Parking is limited, please use public transport where possible. The nearest train station is Didcot Parkway.

Charity

With a strong charitable ethos (the Rotary Club flip burgers and the vicar sells ice creams) the event has raised thousands for local and national causes. In 2009 truckers helped raised over £50,000 for good causes.
