Trunchonbury Festival aims to create a friendly, vibrant and fun atmosphere in MADRA in Knapton, Norfolk. The 3 day family festival now in its 4th year, is hidden in the North Norfolk Countryside a mile from the sea, and takes place from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th August 2017 – Bank Holiday Weekend.

Line-up

Headliners are Dub Pistols & Banco de Gaia, Dodgy & The Correspondents, and Jeremiah Ferrari. With a host of local talent as support including Shoam De, Rivers, Falling From Trees, Grant Ley, Ace Cockburn, Odder seas, Richard Sutton, Ultra Ego, Abigail Blake, The Skipyard Rockers, Just Ash, Anna Wilson, Annely Black, The Naked Lights, JB Band / Parallel Times, Headspace, Broken Maps, Ugle Dog Skiffle band, Chalky Seas, Catch 22, Unit 10, Outta The Blues, Drop The Clutch, and The Storyville Mob.

Housed on the 20 acres that make up the MADRA in Knapton, the festival will play host to Bands, DJ’s, Dance, Drama, Circus and Funfairs. There is a healing tent, food stalls and a children’s field.

Children

Childrens activities Include Full Funfair, Rollo Children's Entertainer ,  Davenport Magician Tent, Punch and Judy,  Walkabouts Theater, Children's game shows ,  Historical workshop,  Medieval Village, Stilt walkers, Jugglers, and Clay making

Drama tent

Trunchonbury has a fully equipped Drama Stage, this will be home to a variety of acts throughout the event. The shows will include performances from actors and dancers to sketches from stand-up comedians. They will also have 'Trunchonbury Has Got Talent' and poets, to a range of musical performances from both choirs and classically trained musicians. The children will be kept well entertained with appearances from the likes of David Mason, a poet, songwriter and storyteller and many other acts.

Healing Fields

The natural healing marquee offers a selection of complementary therapies to enhance general health and wellbeing. All practitioners are professionally trained &  welcome you to experience taster sessions and explore the therapeutic benefits of healing naturally, including Spiritual healing, Massage, Palmist, Flower remedy, and more.
