The 2nd annual UK based indoor dub, reggae and roots three day - United Nations of Dub Weekender takes place at Pontins Holiday Village, Prestatyn Sands, Denbighshire, North Wales from Friday 28th until Monday 30th March 2014.

Line-up

This is the largest UK based indoor dub, reggae and roots three day event held on this scale featuring all the top sound systems and over 100 artists as well as some carefully selected European artists flying in exclusively.

ARENA 1: SOUND SYSTEM ARENA… Featuring some of mainland Europe's largest names and feature nightly sessions between sound systems legends Jah Shaka, Aba Shanti-i, OBF, King Earthquake, Iration Steppas, Jah Tubby's, Word Sound & Power, Blackboard Jungle and Maasai Warrior.

ARENA 2: U.N.O.D x MUNGO'S HI-FI ARENA… In partneship with Mungo's Hi-Fi. As well as appearances by the very special guests that Mungo's Hi-Fi will be bringing along to showcase their Scotch Bonnet record label there's an ever growing list of headline acts including Alpha & Omega, Adrian Sherwood, Don Letts, Alpha Steppa, Dubkasm, Vibronics, Zion Train, Reggae Roast, Riddim Tuffa ft El Fata, Murrayman, Stand High Patrol, Twilight Circus, Jah Revelation Muzik, Nucleus Roots and Kibir La Amlak (Exclusive Live Show) plus some VERY special surprise acts that are yet to be announced.

ARENA 3: SELECTORS STAGE… With extravagant decor and an extremely powerful sound system coming together to create a very unique bass filled environment. Expect the biggest underground sound men (and women), MC's and bass music DJ's to keep the vibes bubbling.

ARENA 4: THE INDOOR HEATED SWIMMING POOL… In high demand flast year the pool is back on Saturday and Sunday afternoon with even more world class selectors and MC's… Don't forget to pack your swimwear.

ARENA 5: THE CINEMA… Showing some exclusive dub, roots and reggae related movies and documentaries and digging out a few classics.

ARENA 6: THE EDUCATION ZONE aka THE PUB… Over the weekend there will be several informal Q&A sessions hosted by Steve Vibronics and Sam Stryda (Dubkasm / Teachings In Dub).

Tickets

Tickets are priced from £85 per person for the weekend without accommodation. A day ticket for Friday or Sunday is priced at £30, and a Saturday only ticket is £35.

There is also a deposit scheme, where tickets can be secured for £50 and then the balance must be paid 50 days before UNOD.

Spread over six indoor arenas there is a steady supply of music from midday to 5am, including an indoor heated swimming pool. The other five rooms are all housed in the main Pontins building and are split into two 1500 capacity arena's which are used for the main sound system sessions, the live P.A's and DJ sets from the world class artists, there are also three smaller arena's which are used to host the 'Selectors Stage', cinema and education zone.

Prestatyn has only limited numbers of apartments for 2's and 3's. The main bulk of apartments sleep 4, 5, 6 and 7. All tickets are inclusive of self-contained on-site chalets/apartments with TV and heating, plus fully equipped kitchen including fridge and microwave, and en-suite bathrooms for the full three days and nights.

Under 18s, families and kiddies all welcome this year.
