Upton upon Severn Folk Festival celebrates its 21st Birthday over the May Bank holiday from Friday 30th April until Monday 3rd May 2010, that takes place in the town of Upton Upon Severn in Worcestershire.

Line-up

The acts confirmed include Marie Little, Captain Swing, Mad Jocks and Englishmen, Rùn, Tinkerscuss, Carrivick Sisters, Tony Portlock, Walsh and Pound, Andrew McKay & Carole Etherton, Spiders Web, Pete Grassby, Trim Rig and A Doxy, Exmouth Shantymen, Harry Browns of Bristol, Shake a leg, Claret, Rod Penlington, The Regesters, Pat & Ned, Vital Spark, Wildfire folk, Matt Black, Henry's Orchard, Bird Scarers, Bev Arscott, Mo & Fiona Bradshaw, Speake & Lowe, and Will Pound.

Other entertainment

The festival will also have over 50 Morris and other dance sides plus ceilidhs, concerts, workshops, craft fair, music and song sessions, musical meander in the foothills of the Malverns, street theatre, a grand procession, and even a duck race.

Festival tickets are priced at £48 for a full weekend, junior tickets (12-15) £22, and under 12s are free. To download a ticket booking form, click here.

Folk Clubs

The festival also hosts Folk Clubs in which there are open mic sessions. Just turn up in good time before the start and ask. (Spots will be allocated at the discretion of the MC.)

Fringe events

There will also be free dances under the bridge, plus the popular 'Upton Fringe' events, and spontaneous street acts.

Camping

Camping is only available to pre-booked weekend ticket holders.
