A statement from organisers said, "The Village Pump Folk Festival will not run in 2017 due to disappointing ticket sales in recent years. We would like to thank everyone for their support."
Offering fun for all types, and ages the Village Pump Folk Festival is held beneath the Westbury White Horse and will celebrate the best in Folk, Roots and Acoustic music, taking place from Friday 21st until Sunday 23rd July 2017, at the White Horse Country Park, in Wiltshire.
Line-up
There are no acts announced yet for 2017.
Tickets
Early bird weekend tickets for the event are now available priced at £95 per adult. Tickets for 11-17 years olds are half price, child (aged 5-10 years) ticket is priced at £5, under 4s free of charge. This includes free camping.
Expect children's entertainment, comedy, workshops, beer, trade stalls selling food, and informal sessions.
There will be two main stages. The first is a large marquee hosting established folk acts and the second which is housed within the country club and will be staging ceilidhs, up and coming acts and acts that suit a more intimate atmosphere. As well as these two main stages there will be a number of smaller sessions and family orientated tents as well as trade stands and bars.
Camping
Camping will be on a large, flat camping field which will allow festival goers on site from Thursday 20th July. The campsite is a short walk from the main arena, but if you would prefer not to walk, there will be a shuttle bus running every day.

Village Pump Folk Festival offers a fun-packed family programme designed to entertain the whole family including arty fun, and family Ceilidhs.
